What is it like to work for a 100% commission virtual broker? We had a nice chat with one of our newest agents, Brooke Fischman, to find out.
Q: How long have you been a REALTOR?
A: I’ve been a realtor for close to 18 months now. In 2017 between sales and rentals I closed over 20 deals.
Q: What is your favorite thing about being a REALTOR?
A: My favorite thing about working in real estate is working with people – being part of a such a major milestone in their lives and helping them achieve their goals is very rewarding.
Q: How was your transition from working with a traditional agency to working with eRealty Advisors?
A: Working under a national broker I did most of the networking, lead generation, and field work on my own. Advertising and signs were all my own expenses as well. I’ve definitely found the transition to eRealtyAdvisors be motivating because of the significant increase in commission. Additionally, I feel I’m able to offer my clients more advertising since my budget is larger.
Q: What is a common decision that you help many home buyers face?
A: When working with first time home buyers they are often faced with the choice between new construction condo vs. private home. There are pros and cons to each one. Privacy vs. communal living, maintenance free vs. doing maintenance yourself, for example. Although condo taxes are usually less than a private home, condo fees are often overlooked and need to be figured into the budget. It’s not an easy decision but knowing what you’re looking for makes house hunting so much simpler.
